This + ''Nemesis Mask'' makes me laugh--one of my favorite EDH plays; just needs a ''Darksteel Plate'' to make matters worse. *Too bad the wording is "source" and not "opponent" otherwise this would own with ''Simulacrum''

Good thing I bought a play set of these while they were $13 ($23 at the moment). I knew the price of these would rise in some point :D Awesome ability, ridiculously cool art, great card!

Incredibly good, but can be answered. Once those swiftfoot boots come out though and you can't target him, that's when the game ends.

obliterated. Take 5 damage or lose your battle field. What a sick card.

My favorite card out of the set, hands down. A reversed effect Phyrexian Negator, OUCH... This will make a killer addition to my Black Out deck.

wow! just wow. if you dont have an answer for this guy waiting in your hand youll lose. What I love about this card most is that it gives great incentive to go mono black, my all time favorite colour scheme!

I think this is my favorite card from New Phyrexia. Followed closely by Geth's Verdict since I am a {B}Mage anyway. Completely replaces Phyrexian Negator in Black Out decks. I need playset...

Ok so magic has gone "poison" Is this how they make up for their "infect" ability? Makes Juzam look like a chump.
anyway a 5/5 Trample for four black is pretty good , but to make opponents sacrifice perments for doing it damage. Looks to me like We got ourselves another great horror.

Despite the obvious answers in the current format, this card is going to wreck post zendikar block. Anyone not playing white or go for the throat is going to have a hard time dealing with this as early as turn 3. I wouldn't be intimidated by the four black casting cost as most black/x builds have enough multicolor lands to ensure you get your four black mana. The price is a little crazy right now but that is to be expected with the release of any set. Time will tell but I believe this card will see its way into top tier decks post zendikar block.

Love this card. Love monoblack. Ended up dropping the money for 4 foil from troll and toad. Love how they package stuff well. Everything in the order came uber MINT condition as though pulled straight from a pack. This card owns, and in an appropriate monoblack deck this can be added to a large list of deadly "must deal with now" kind of threats. Hopefully catching opponent eventually without an answer. In a game I prize Lashwrithe a bit more, so when duressing or despising and seeing the opponent will have a counter for either of the two, I play this one first in hopes of them countering. Lashwrithe is super beast mode, specially on Vault Skirge. And later if you get an Obliterator to stick around for a while, Lashwrithe attached puts the opponent in a very very difficult position. Give 4/5 stars simply cause its not broken in current format. Just incredibly good.
