Bring this out like 5 turns before you bring out an Omnath, and while your waiting, just tap 1-2 forests each turn. When you do bring out Omnath, you'll already have a lot of mana to make him a 6/6 or 7/7 to murder your opponent with. This card is also good for things like counterspells, cancels, negates and such, because if you just tap 1-2 lands every turn, you'll be ready by the time your opponent gets the big guns out. It's almost like interest. I wonder why everyone is so sad about mana burn being gone when it relates to this card... there are so many other uses for it.

Great card if you still use mana burn. And for the reviewer 2 reviews ago, what the person meant was when you destroy this card, mana burn takes effect at the end of the turn. So all the unused saved up mana empties into your life!

This card can help in two ways. It can help you build up mana to use for big creatures AND you can fool your opponent by letting them constantly build up mana in their pool then destroy it with another card. If they don't use all their mana in their pool by the end of turn, they get mana burn.

This card is awsome!!! You can stack up on mana thus you can play a card that cost ten mana by taping fife mana for two turns.

This card never caused mana burn. Even back in the day, it said on the card itself that "this effect stops mana burn". Nonetheless, it can be useful in modern, mana-heavy Eldrazi decks.

Since the "Mana Burn" rule has been eliminated since the release of M10, this card serves no purpose anymore whatsoever, which is kind of sad. Still, I'm giving this guy 4/5 because of the awesomeness it has provided since it's printing back in the good ol' days. Now a closed chapter, this card is, sadly, just an enchantment that does nothing.
