I love this card! I made a fun umbra deck that I use him in w/ eldrazi aura cards as well as other auras. Turn one, drop him by removing 2 green, then play a llanowar. Turn 2, a plains, then umbra mystic. Turn 3, Hyena Umbra, Rancor, Lifelink on him. Now you have a 7/5 FS, trample, lifelink that can swing who's infinitely protected by umbra mystic and rancor combined. Enough said!

my opinion of the green mage's best fatty. possibly the best in the game. to top off its ungodly power, it has an alternate cost. can you say "green supremacy"?

This card is bad ass. You get +1/+1 for all lands you control. Not just forest lands, but all lands. I got this bad boy out with 21/21 and then equipped it so it had 22/23 and first strike. If you play your cards right, meaning have 2 forests in your hand when you draw this guy, then you can end a duel lightning fast.
