Great for landfall abities since you can trigger them twice and still have an untapped land

Magic the gathering has 2 different directions you can follow to create an awesome deck: Cardadvantage and Tempo ... IF you're supposed to play a spell during your FIRST turn of the game, evolving wilds just isn't gonna do the job good enough ... IF you're supposed to play a spell during the second turn of the game, a turn 2 evolving wilds sucks the biggest balls on the face of the earth ... Marsh flats, and the 4 other fetchlands, are awesome, since the tempo remains AND it fixes your mana ... and with something like lotus cobra, it even grants you tempo to the maximum :)

For my black/white deck, these cards are essential. The others in my gaming group wondered why I forked out for a playset of these and Scrubland, when 4 Orzhov Basilica would have fixed my mana! Ha ha, and then they wonder why I always win!

Always have loved BW decks, this fetch land made me love it even more to fix the mana for those decks.

Not only does this card fetch a land but it thins the deck making it more possible to draw the cards you need at the right time, not to mention the land comes in untapped AND it's extraordinary for landfall cards.

5 stars for sure. I like to see my tombstalkers hit the board fast. thins the deck, allows me to "fetch" the right land to produce the right mana type to cast the right spell at the right time. 5 stars.

you should have to insert your dci rating before you write a review (targeted at the first two comments nicely written second 2) im very big on helping new players get better but really, learn the game before you start smashing cards that make the game work... the thing is that one fetch land up there in extended can grab either godless shrine, temple garden, hallowed fountain, sacred foundry, overgrown tomb, blood crypt, or watery grave, also it thins your deck which is also super important, and in the right deck allows you to play a turn 3 5/5 knight of the reliquary... so please new players, look into why things are as good as they are

both previous reviews are wrong
1) lands come into play UNTAPPED. incredibly important, and worth the distinction from common to rare
2) most importantly, you have to think outside the confines of standard... in extended and legacy, these fetch dual lands, making them extraordinarily important, allowing them to run practically any number of colors

you use them over t morph because the land comes into play UNTAPPED. you also only use them in a deck of two colors more then anything and it tends to be (get this) the colors of the fetch land, making them even more helpful. here's a scenario: "let's see, i cant put down this burrenton forge tendor because i only have a swamp and a marsh flats...i can take a plain to make sure i don't get mana screwed PLUS since i'm fighting a burn deck her pro red ability will be a great help here". and with landfall that helps alot, especially with lotus cobra. granted yes i do not think they are amazing but then again i don't like running horribly broken mechanics and landfall is a big one.

There are much better ways to solve mana problems in multi-colored decks.

All they did was renamed Terramorphic Expanse, but now it will cost you life, and you only have 2 basic land types to choose from instead of all 5. These are nowhere near worthy of being rare, or even uncommon. How can they take a card that was a mediocre common to begin with, slap some penalties and restrictions on it, then try to pass it off as a rare?
