Good set with a few small complaints
I bought a case (32 boosters, 128 minis) of this set, in anticipation of the Princes of the Apocalypse campaign release. Pros:* The paint jobs look much better than photos had led me to believe.* The set seems to contain many minis which should/could be appropriate for the Princes of the Apocalypse campaign.* My case of minis produced 4 out of 6 "ultra rare" minis, 1 of each rare, 2-3 of each uncommon, and 3-5 of each common. Pretty good spread for random.Cons:* Why make "good aligned" creatures like "solar angels common or uncommon? Hard to imagine many situations where I''ll need a flock of them.* Why are air & fire cultists uncommon, when the other cultists are common? There may be a valid reason for this, once we see the campaign book.* Why not have a couple of sculpts for each type of cultist to increase their prevalence, given how useful they''ll probably be in this campaign setting?* So many dragons, always, with those finicky pedestals. It feels like they had a bunch left over from Tyranny of Dragons. I know Dragons are in the name of the game, but still...* Two of the sculpts (fire bat and pseudodragon) have very brittle connections to their pedestals, and are easy to snap if not handled carefully. Keep contact cement handy.Overall I''m happy with the set, and would recommend it to others.
