Beholder Ultimate Tyrant #06 Legendary Evils D&D Miniatures

I gave this mini a 5 star rating. A few things you should know if your thinking of ordering on of these bad boys; firstly, it's freaking huge! Its easily twice the size I was expecting and my players are dreading the day they bump into it. Secondly, it looks great (as it should) and when not being used in game, the model now lives by my computer at work as a nerdy paperweight. Admittedly it is far from the best painted mini in my collection (some of the horns are coloured and a few splashes of white around the teeth, but all in all it remains my favourite model to date. Highly recommended.

Beholders are awesome monsters for the DM to throw against a party. I have collected all the other beholders, and didn't get this one because I thought, "When am I ever going to use a HUGE beholder and how many beholders do I need anyway?" I am so glad I got this. The paint detail and design are great (although all of its eyes are facing forward, which seems incautious of it) and the thing is so terrifyingly intimidating you can almost see the PCs' minis quaking in their boots!

Very good details, and the size of it is huge! Can wait to see my PC faces :-)
