Caller in Darkness #49 Unhallowed D&D Miniatures

This is a fantastic, large incorporeal undead. Its sonic attack is very dangerous and the mini can stand in for all kinds of creatures. The design on this mini is superb - horrified writhing faces shaped into a twisting column of tortured souls. The figure is made from clear plastic coated with a black wash (looks green in the photo but it is not) and it looks amazing. There are quite a few undead minis designed like this and this is one of the very best.

I am very glad I got this mini! Very good sculpting (the screaming faces are very dynamic), and it just sparks the imagination for what I can use it for: a large ghost, swarm of undead, a Bone Yard, a large ooze, anything ectoplasmic, a pool of screaming undead rising up to grasp at PCs, an acid or poison elemental, or maybe even a Caller in Darkness (in Open Grave for 4e, very cool creature)!

Stunning. This piece is simply stunning. It was well done with a nice pose and excellent sculpting. It's awesome that it was made from the style of plasitc that it was, and not painted. Good form.
