Intellect Devourer #54 Unhallowed D&D Miniatures

The mini in person looks alot better than this stock picture leads you to believe. I like the sculpt and paint, true could have been a little better but it fills the role just fine.

This is a great monster I would consider one.

The intellect devourer is a fantastic monster, but this mini is disappointing. I have three and only one of them is put together properly. The paint job is mediocre and the pose is kind of silly, like a dog shaking hands rather than a psychic menace ready to rip your brain out.

Its just plain out ugly!

Why? Why in this set? Unhallowed is one of the greatest sets ever, and they throw this miniature in it. It's a horrendous miniature with horrendous painting and horrendous posing. I would have been content using a marble or maybe a Grell (?) for this useless beast. Eh, at least it's an Uncommon, better than it deserves.
