| Description | Marvel Overpower Base Set Booster Box Overpower, once the premier super-hero fantasy game was originally released of the game in the middle 1995 by Fleer. The set is easy to identify by the solid gold graphic on the borders of Special cards. Overpower was unique from the biggest card game at the time, Magic the Gathering, both structurally and strategically. Overpower was designed to simulate combat with Heroes and Villains in the Marvel Universe while also attempting to complete a 'mission'. Overpower has two different win the first is 'missions'. Missions are a double edged sword, if you complete a mission you claim victory but if your forced to abandon a mission you forfeit the game. The second win condition is victory though dominance, when you knock out all your opponents heroes or villains you take the match.
