Emma Frost #060 Chase Rare Wolverine and the X-Men Marvel Heroclix

Once I would have rated a 19 Super Senses as superior to Impervious, but with the advent of Precision Strike the value of the evasion defenses has dropped considerably. Still, with HSS top dial, the frost queen should be able to stay out of sight or range of most figures. Emma's trait actually helps her too, and while it may not be much, avoiding TK attacks or extra tokens could come in handy.

Free action Attack SP TK gives her a one two punch and it might be useful to fling someone out of base contact as opposed to risking the break away roll.

Mid dial she becomes a completely different person, dropping the HSS glass cannon persona and acting more as the White Queen we love (or loathe). Psychic Blast backed by Prob, and Special Mind Control that either harms opponents further or heals can help offset feedback damage.

Of all the five however, Emma's dial is the easiest to hammer through - one failed Super Sense roll and she's lost most of what she paid the extra 150 for. By the time she drops HSS, she's become extremely vulnerable to getting swarmed, and will need even more plastic surgery after her glass jaw gets pulverized. ES/D isn't much of a defense (in fact she needs the Super Senses back dial more than front), and while she has a lot of good powers (PW, Perplex), it won't mean much if she can't use them more than once before being over run.
