Black King #035 Wolverine and the X-Men Marvel Heroclix

Here comes the pain train! Opposing players likely won't be able to ignore this version of the Hellfire King, as once he's pushed to click 2 he picks up Outwit which left unchecked can tear apart a team. Hit him a little, and he's fresh to attack the next round, picking up bigger and better combat values in the process. Hit him a lot, and he just hits back harder.

Black King is also constantly able to advance, thanks to sidestep, making it easier for him to base an opponent and force them to make a tough decision - hit my enemy and make him stronger, or run away (and possibly fail a break away roll). Consider the first 4 slots as activation clicks - they all but guarantee he'll end up on a sweeter spot for offense, and this is one royal pain that has little to fear when walking into base contact. Great to play in multiple point value formats, in a 300 point game at 165 points, he won't have many resources remaining to pair him with - I suggest joining his highness with a taxi/ranged attack piece to make up for his very few shortcomings. It's good to be the King!
