Magik #034 Wolverine and the X-Men Marvel Heroclix

Another team transport figure (with Warlock around, the New Mutants have TWO!) Magik brings a load of other fun tricks to a force - double movement even with a blood sacrifice (which is a really useful way to get past the activation click on the WXM Wolfsbane). Prob control is welcome to see, though I expect most will be dazzled by the Pulse Wave and Mystics TA. Opponents will want to hit her hard, which also presents a problem as she picks up Blades & Exploit along with a thicker skin, all backed with MORE PC which could really ruin someone's day.

With her powers and abilities Magik presents some difficult choices for the enemy - a lot of Mystics figures get "saved for last" but the opposition probably isn't going to be okay with her Running around and Pulse Waving opponents, and if they don't hit her hard enough they'll make things worse with B/C/F and EW. Consequently she can't really front a 300 point team without drawing too much fire - but she can play an excellent role as a backup attacker/distraction for another 198 points of offense, and then clean up like nobody's business. For everything she does well in low point games, she does better in 400+ point matches.
