Where many see this as Mag-lite, a weak sauce master of magnetism, I see a cheaply costed free move taxi that can TK and Free Action Force Blast at range. We're talking 65 points here people, you can't ask for much more, and if you do, then you're just being greedy. But wait! There's more! If Mags enters the end zone, he can start firing missiles from Cape Citadel. There's no limit to how many times he can activate the power, and it has a 50% chance of success or failure (take that 21 defense!). It targets squares on the map, not characters, AND is not an attack, which means powers and abilities that trigger on an attack roll or targeting (Shape Change, Super Senses, Mystics) won't work.

So let's recap - is the mutant mastermind a weak sauce TK cannon, or an under costed powerhouse? Just because he can't Pulse Wave for 5 damage or absorb a ton of damage doesn't mean he's any less of a threat. In fact, I'd venture to say he's more of a threat given that opponents will likely be so focused on the team he brought with him, to worry about Magneto plopping down at the end of the map and launching an air strike!
