this card works well with Novablast worm

This card is pretty solid for the mana cost, but in the current metagame( shard block, zendikar block) this card will dominate jund. since the only way for jund players to get rid of creatures is to destroy them this card can neutralize that ability instantly. for naya and boros bushwaker though the only thing this card can really do is protect creatures form damage and keep them alive during the combat phase.

This is an awesome card. First off, it's a 3/3 for 3, which is pretty darn good. A turn 1 Noble Hierarch, Turn 2 this, Turn 3 Rafiq is 10 damage. If, a couple turns later, you play some other creatures out and you and your opponent each have a good number of creatures, go ahead and play a Wrath of God, sacrificing this card. That's some *major* card advantage. Still, I'm a little surprised by the price tag. It seems like more of a $3 card, since you probably won't use its effect immediately, making it just a Hill Giant, and second, it doesn't work against Path To Exile and Unmake.
