of the 'unhinged' lands that john avon did for the 'unglued' set my favorites are probably his 'mountain' and 'swamp.' the photorealistic 'island' from this block is unmatched for technical prowess but that's nothing new, consider his work years back on the 'mountain's of the 'mirage' block. but for MTG game play i prefer a touch of whimsy or awe inspiring middle-earth light. this 'mountain' also reminds one of his 'urza's saga' block 'mountain's of which i believe he did all in that block('mountain's that is). perhaps a revisit to old shades of past work "par excellente" but in that spirit quite delightful nonetheless to this old campaigner. and of course the full card treatment lends a unique touch to the gamer looking for something different. in conclusion, a work of supremacy done in a way quite like no one else in the MTG realms. recommend highly, especially while they're still available.

mountains are the best. irecently spent **$ for 3 summer magic mountains

Fabulous deal. For those of us who are serious collectors, and knowledgeable about MTG misprints and collectors items, these are a great buy. For the uneducated reviewers who gave this item a 1 star, you obviously have no skill in identifying valuable cards. Perhaps we should trade some time. Summer Magic happens to be one of the most distinctive error printings in MTG history, and to have 1, let alone 12 mountains from this mythlike set, is remarkable.

People are missing the point on this deal. Yes, it's a Mountain, with a white border. It doesn't do anything unusual.
But this is a Collectable Card Game. And this is a Summer Magic Mountain. That means there are hardly any of these around. Low number of cards available (and this is a very rare card) equals high price. $15 for this Mountain is a bargain. It'll be worth more next year.

This is a very rare card, but there are other rare versions of basic land that I would prefer (such as the Arabian Nights mountain.) The only way that you can tell this from a Revised mountain (at least as far as I know) is that it says copyright 1994 at the bottom, instead of just copyright.

Who would waste ** bucks! On that mountain, you could go to any other store and pretty much get it for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
