Does anyone remeber the fact that this card is absoutely the most annoying card in the universe. It is neigh unkillable, and to make it even worse, you never payfor it. This combined with some of the cards that gift you for play with spirits from kamigawa (such as the kirins) makes this even more dangerous in constructed.

When Charlie mentioned the Kamigawa spirits, I instantly thought of Long-Forgotten Gohei... Not only will your Blinking Spirit become bigger; it will also become cheaper to cast!
Since many cards from the Kamigawa block cares about when you cast Spirit or Arcane spells, Blinking Spirit would be an obvious incursion to any deck of that kind. You can cast Blinking Spirit over and over again, and with Long-Forgotten Gohei, you can really get either a good storm count going or trigger loads of triggered abilities.
