Good low casting cost artifact for land destruction decks. Useful also in discard decks and various other land destruction decks. Megrim, Hymn to Tourach, Abyssal Specters, Racks, etc...

Great card to shut down Fetch lands. Throw in Zo-Zu, the Punisher for some extra flavor or Tunnel Ignus... Works even better to take away the drawbacks of Veteran Explorer and New Frontiers; just run Lifegift and/or Grazing Gladehart so you're not uber hurting yourself!

Ankh is situational, make no mistake about that. Fun? Yes. Funny? Yes. Usable? Somewhat. Tournament viable? Not really, but maybe as sideboard.
I use it in a burn deck from time to time for fun. 2+1+2 = 5 damage a fetch land now costs you to play and use. Throw in a few Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Fireblast etc and you might win the life race. A turn 2 or 3 Ankh can change a game against blue control if it hits the board. It is a dead card late though. (I've seen so many blue control decks unexpectedly have to FoW an Ankh because they know it will eventually kill them.) Use scrye to get ride of it after turn three or something techy like Shrapnel Blast (also useful if you run Mishra's Factory or Cursed Scroll).
