Sibilant Spirt did in fact cost 5U at 5/6 flying, but when it attacked the defending player got to draw a card which is fine if you are playing a deck with Underworld of Dreams.

I loved this card before elvish piper was around, then he got quite abit better, then simic came out in dissension and now he he is just a pure powerhouse that is meant to be comboed with the deadly simic sky swallower, so then your opponent has a bad choice and a tough choice, alot of damage, or just a bloody nose.

Hmm, a huge flyer, from the old skool, and highly effective. Is their any reason not to love this card. Sure, Morphling is running around but this is a classic killah

A most epic deal, to say the least! 5/6 fliers for 6 mana, how can this be a bad thing? Power sink, lotus petal, mana drain, and all of blue's deck manipulation make this pretty eassy to get into play, and when it does POW! Face it, is anyone ever happy when you play a monster blimp like this!

I just have to say that the art on the 9th and 10th edition Mahamoti is some of the most epic art I've ever seen on a blue creature in my seven years playing Magic; and I'm a blue mage! Combine this with the fact that the Flying reminder text is omitted from the foil 10th edition version, and suddenly he becomes one of the most visually appealing blue men in the game, in my opinion. Not to mention that Mahamoti Djinn is the classic blue fatty. A new twist on an old favourite.
4 stars from me. A solid revision to a classic creature, but sadly enough, he will only see play from the more romantic, casual players such as myself.

this '7th' edition flyer may not be the preeminent tournament flyer it used to be in days of yore. still, a tremendous amount of fun and can fool you into thinking that's its ALmost that good. but, i'm not here to tell you all that. just wanted to say that out of all the numerous editions starting from 'alpha' and 'beta' up to now, the '7th' edition foil is THE best one by far. just mucho mucho better, at least in my humble opinion. just smashing and IS smashing! in conclusion, recommend highly and you'll dazzle you fellow card-floppers.................

if you're going to spend the money get the 7th edition foil. the art and tinting is much better in this humble corresponder's opinion. also, the foil, while being better in every way, is also cheaper........
