A superb card, especially when combined with Honden of Seeing Winds as well as the other Hondens.

People don't give this card the credit it deserves. Why? Because people don't know how to use it.
See, a card like this one isn't meant to be the sole source of an effect in any deck. Ideally, a deck built around having no maximum hand size should have a number of different cards that grant the same effect, to not only ensure you draw what you need, but to also ensure that you can have multiple effect granters out at the same time.
What this card does is, in reality, waste your opponents removal cards. The thing is a decoy. Its got one massive bull's eye painted right between its eyes, and every one of your opponents is going to knock it out as soon as possible. And hell, it's still a decently priced 1/3, so it can block your average White fodder, and take a Shock.
Or hell, just make the bloody thing Hex Proof for all I care. The point is that it's a useful card, just not as the supposed game winner everyone mistakenly judges it as.

Disadvantages: more expensive than Library of Leng or Spellbook, susceptible to creature removal which is much more common than artifact removal.
Advantages: extra blocker for weak creatures, adds a wizard to work with in decks with Patron Wizard, Information Dealer, etc.
