I agree with the guy above me. it is a bit demoralizing coming up agianst a 12/12 with trample. But use this in an artifact deck with phyrexian dreadnought and a few Broodstars and then just relax. The card is arguably a strategic nightmare to play if in the wrong situation, but i give it credit for the optimal use one can get out of it. (fun combo is adding flight to this thing, and kusari-gamma!)

Has some strategic value as a large defender to hide behind. has a better mana cost than some others like grozoth or krosan cloudscraper. but I still prefer the Phyrexian dreadnought by far. still this is a decent card and easily scares nubes.

If only it had shroud... I'm sure everyone is going to aim a ton of removal spells at it once it enters the battlefield, but I agree that is could be useful with Stifle, although that would merely turn it into an overpriced Phyrexian Dreadnaught
