I personally think that paying a total of 4 mana and 3 life is a pretty inefficient use of resources. As far as the debate between Deep Analysis and Concentrate, I have to agree that Concentrate is a little better, and here is why: Both cards cost 4 to cast. While Deep Analysis is only 1 blue, you only get 2 cards. If you pay the flashback cost, to draw the additional 2, you have now paid 3 more life and only drawn 1 more card than you would have with Concentrate. But honestly I wouldn't use either of them in a deck. I would rather be holding something like Ponder, Pre-Ordain, or better yet, the enchantment Rhystic Study.
