Amazing. Guard Gomazoa spits in the face of any Eldrazi and laughs at Deaththouch. It blocks all of the biggest creatures without getting hurt one bit, but it has one fatal weakness. 3's the magic number - at least if you want to get killed by a Lightning Bolt. With this, of course, I'm saying that the lack of Shroud is a serious issue. On the other hand, Guard Gomazoa should do nicely against any and all creature decks not packing too much burn.
Wall of Denial is in many ways a lot stronger than this - it has Shroud and a very, very high toughness - but as mentioned before, the anti-combat damage protection on Guard Gomazoa means that it can safely block Vampire Nighthawks all day without worry. A thing that Wall of Denial would never be able to.
