Not sure what sort of deck people are assuming this would get played in, but in an arcbound deck this would be really useful. Stack a recently fallen arcbounds counters on this and you have a beefy first strike. Thats a pretty good deterrent. Plus you have to figure all the arcbounds are slightly more costly due to their utility. Not an amazing card, but definitely worth using

actually, people dont see the usefulness of certain cards paired with others, arcbound decks with mycosynth golems and other affinity cards could be extremely powerful

i agree. this card cost way too much. it is ridiculous. if you use it , it implies one thing, you must want to lose.
