Very good card for when your opponent gets an insane number of +1/+1 counters on a card through a combo of some sort, or just a high-powered card. And for one White mana it's a steal. Can be excellent against Szadek, Lord of Secrets. Once they get up to +40/+40, play this. If you read the errata in Gatherer, it says that you can prevent the damage.

its good, but not against creatures, because once they resolve they are not creature spells anymore, they are just creatures. What makes up for its lack of preventing creature damage improves over spells like fireball and blaze. bottom line: good, but not broken because i can still fling little wussies pass this thing.
