The triggered effect can be slightly annoying, but as mentioned before run with Madness(Don't overlook using Tortured Existence to Madness out a creature and return target creature from graveyard to owner's hand)... My best turn 1 with this guy to date is; Dark Ritual into Drekavac ~ Pitch a Strength of Lunacy and Madness it for B (5/4 pro-white). Totally hoses my buddies who play White Control
In a nutshell: This card is very situational and can end up being a dead card in hand, But it is 3/3 for 2cmc and can be fairly devastating in the right build -- Just pray never to topdeck this or something, lol.
