An excellent, veratile card . . . A 3/3 creature for 3 mana that can be played as an instant? And its gating feature isn't really even a drawback! Use it correctly, at the right time (during the combat phase), and the Panther is a rescue/creature-killing/creature card all in one!

This is one of the best cards made. The panther deserves 5 stars. For example your opponent plays shock targeting your foil birds of paradise. Instead of just sitting there you can play tap the 3 mana send out the panther and save your birds of paradise. Plus what makes this card really good is it can be played as instant and it is a 3/4,and like the brushhopper can be played for 3 mana.
