Really good card if your opponent uses elves too. If they don't, use Jagged Scar Archers instead.

Use this, 4 of the Instant cards that add X/X (where X is the number of elives in play). and the elf that has the same except its a tap ability and you can have x9 the number of elves in play. (Generally around 20 or so [40-50 w/ ambush commander]) so thats 180-450

the current record for power/toughness my school's magic players was 215/215 unblockable because of this with three alpha statuses and a elvish champion out (along with a bunch of wellwishers and wirewood elves).

Awesome card for elf decks. Use this with a combination of alpha status which gives it +2/+2 for each creature in play that shares a creature type with it and then pump it up with timberwatch elf and u've got a good combination. It's like he.. . . . well it actually appears to be more of a she gets +4/+4 for each elf in play. . . mauahahahaha!!!! Then double it's power with Nantuko Mentor and u have a strong creature with trample. I had it at 100/100 and did a 100 direct damage to my opponent...ofcourse with the help of tauting elf

This card is very good in an elf deck. It would be better if it would cost one less but then is also very easy to get out with cards such as Wirewood Channeler or Priests of Titina.

As many people have said, this, ambush commander, and wellwisher are must have for elf decks. I think Elvish promenade is the perfect follow-up to the Ambush commander. Instantly double the number of elves you have in play, and your wellwisher and heedless one are that much more useful.
