Well, if you want me to be honest and true, even if this card has bloodthirst 3 (It becomes a 5/6), usually you want cheaper and faster to play creatures with bloodthirst for a deck with gruul play mode (Convoke small creatures as fast as posible, amplify them and attack). So my opinion is that it is an ok card, but it inst truly necessary for a gruul deck.
