This card is generally sick. It really provides a head start for those red burn & destroy decks. Red has always been in need for boardsweepers (no, not pyroclasm effects), and this card provides it.

WotC didn't exactly, to put it midly, pull of the 'punisher' cards in previous sets.
Fortunately, they did in Judgment, and Breaking Point is probably the best of the lot.
For three mana you have yourself a Wrath of God or three Shocks (opponent only, mind you).
Either way, it's going to hurt.
