Wake Thrasher

Get them now before they skyrocket. With Mana burn gone this card just went from really good to broken. End of your opponents turn tap all your lands for this, Lord of Atlantis on the table with a Tidal warrior and a reejery and 5 islands and 2 mutavaults. At your upkeep minimum sitting at 12/12 with islandwalk. Play some more merfolk from your hand say 2 untap 2 more lands 14/14 swing with him, you 3/3 Lord, 3/3 Reejery, and 2 4/4 mutavaults all unblockable cause of the annoying Tidal Warrior. Fish is on the rise and absolutely stomps your threshold decks into the ground.

Info combo use this with ''intruder alarm''and ''stonybrook schoolmaster'' add in''drowner of secrets'' to finish combo. ''Whispersilk cloak'' or ''merfolk sovereign'' for unblockable. With these four or less cards you have a infanate p/t creature unblockable and stonybrook adds 'info' creatures to play while milling your oponents out of all there library ,you can use this conbo with out thrasher because with no library no need to damage opponents, kill every opp in the same turn by milling.

Can't block like a Tarmagoyf but can attack for much more. Great in a merfolk deck with island walk. Might be too mana costly to have 4 in a deck though.

I like this card. In my blue control deck I needed a replacement for tarmogoyf (cuz im not gonna pay that much)and this is pretty good for that. Only costs 1 more mana, I dont have to splash green, and it gets big like goyf does. only problem is it cant block like goyf cuz it only stays big until end of turn.

Broken beyond belief. He attacks as a 4/4 just from untapping the land used to play him. Run in merrow-mill deck, like the precon, but with merrow reejerey or 2 in play, plus stonybrook banneret and drowner of secrets. Not gonna say exactly how but you can attack with guy as a 20/20 on turn 5 easily using all current legal stuff, most of it commons. Haven't even tried him in a soldier deck yet.
