this is one of the best control cards off all-time and it's common. I run it in my Winter Orb/Tangle Wire deck that runs very few creatures so it's not really affected all too much by this double-edged effect. And I guess the best thing about this card is that the permanents are sacrificed, not destroyed. It's a hard deck to beat unless you're running Oxidize or Crumble(Can't regenerate*) since I can just protect the combo with Welding Jars.
