Fairly good card, fun for making your friends very angry, especially when you take their permanent then destroy Avarice totem.

There's a trick to this card that not everone knows about. Target one of your own permanents and then target one of theirs in response. You'll gain control of the permanent and still keep the totem. Expensive sure, but still very viable in formats like prismatic and EDH.

Great card finally a continual loop to take any permenant with the aid of boomerangs and such spells this artifact is devastating.
