well, for the general public this would probably be a three star card. my friend was like," so you basically get two cards for one card and lose two life?! pshaw and fooey on that!" but it should help certain archetypes....mainly suicide and lockdown decks. or anything that feels the need for speed. i personally play it in a 1.5(or "legacy)black reanimation deck. and it really gets the job done. and if it doesn't, its one of the four to eight cards that can be sideboarded out for something better. in conclusion, recommend you don't overlook this nice and cheap little card drawer for black. not bad artwork either! although i still don't like the reformatted look that eighth edition ushered in............
