Great card, espcially in a dragon-storm deck...

Oops. I said double cleave when I meant Brute Force.

Turn 1: mountain and spark elemental. Turn 2:mountain and iron myr. Turn 3:mountain, spark elemental, double cleave, fling. Now, depending on who went first, your opponent is about to start his third or fourth turn, and he is already down to 5 life. I'd call that a pretty good start

also good in multi color decks with bounce or graveyard control - horned kavu, sparkcaster, unearth, etc...

To most players Spark Elemental is Lightning Bolt turned to a creature form. Trample and haste is nothing to scoff at and three damage capable on the first turn, it could definitely have a spot in red Aggro decks.

1 mana-3 damage. Perfect card for sligh, red deck wins, or burn. Not as good as lava spike, rift bolt, chain lightning, or lightning bolt of course, it's still a great card worth putting in a fast red deck
