although i do not own one of these cards ive played against 3 of them and seen first hand how powerful they can get. just imagine, a saproling deck that puts out 8 to 9 saps. per turn and saps. out during opponents turns. now imagine akromas memorial and coat of arms. thats big. its also a very powerful defensive card, seeing as most destruction spells are black, white, or red. saves you from 2 of them lol. and its mana cost really isnt that bad. 7 mana for all that great stuff. i mean really...who would even want to bring it out really early in the game to protect 2 or 3 small creatures?

Haha combine this with Darksteel Forge and you have a killer. Provided you have the mana of course.

I'm sure its not the best combo but...
Turn one play a Mountain, Discard a red card to Chrome Mox, play Sliversmith.
Turn two play another mountain, discard Akroma's Memorial to play a sliver token.
Turn three play Trash for Treasure sacking your Sliver token for a Memorial.

All your creatures become an unlegendary (somewhat) version of Akroma... Akroma cost 8 mana and this cost 7. Your 8/8 or 1/1 or 3/2 or */*, becomes a version of Akroma. Thats awsome!!!

um, pretty sure the card would A. be illegal if it only cost 4, and B. cost about $100 or more. that being said, this card is awesome for multiplayer or casual

To think they made a card that gives all creatures you control flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, haste, protection from black, protection from red. All I can say is sweet!

Casual play, solid 4 star card. It is flexible as far as which decks it can work in. Personally, I think this goes in a big creature artifact deck with tinker/sphinx summoner/master transmute. Are you gonna tell me that you run an artifact deck with all creatures being mana cost 6 or less? Also, to hear someone say that having a bunch of weenies that are flying 1st strike vigilance haste trample pro black and red isn't that great...that's a bit crazy. Flying pro black red neutralizes any attack from b/r creatures, and vigilance keeps you from being just defensive. So yeah better than average card.

Expensive, yes, but this card would work very well in a token-creation deck or a straight artifact deck. You can easily temper its cost by using Fist of Suns or by playing Mycosynth Golem, and if you're worried about it getting destroyed, you can always play Darksteel Forge. In a deck where you don't have a big theme of controlling and increasing your own mana, however, this card won't do you much good. I could see it working in a Soldier deck, though every soldier deck I've seen thus far has enough cards to grant these abilities as is. It has a specific niche, that's for sure.

Nice card, however, play it against a control deck and watch it get stolen and used against you.

Great card for agressive and defensive decks. This combined with March of the Machines is really nasty. The only down side is the seven casting cost by this time in the game you could already be f.u.b.a.r. so i took away a star.

Very useful and powerful. Use Braids, Conjuror Adept or/and Jhoira of the Ghitu to get it out quickly.
Just beware and look out for Delay, Reality Strobe, Seal of Primordium, Quiet Disrepair etc..

i think its best in a green deck esp. with wurms/elves/druids since u can get it out early other decks will lose in less than 7 turns esp. againts red/black so u wont get it out its still beast

An expensive artifact card that can give all your creatures the abilities that Akroma, Angel of Wrath has been blessed with. This could drastically swing the tide of the game, especially if you have a lot of creatures in play. It's also an artifact card, which means it can go with decks of any colour, rather than White, which is what the Angel of Wrath's colour is. The only thing to watch out for are cards that destroy artifacts, obviously.

It's funny how all the reviews go back and forth. "It's good" "It sucks" "it's good" "It's ok"
I'm sure with the right combination, any card is great, and no card is perfect.
In my opinion, the only people who say any card "sucks" or is "broken" just don't know how to use it as well as they should.

Can you say tinker?
It's a nice in theory, but it's really more of a casual play card. No doubt it is a fun card. I just wouldn't play it in any kind of tournament.

This card is pretty good, but not completely. The flying ability can also be a weakness. One time my brother put out Akroma's Memorial, and he thought I was dead. But I had Hurricane in my hand and all his creatures had 1 toughness. I used Hurricane and killed all his creatures. He resigned from the game even though he still had 10 life.

Nice to play in multiplayer especially with the new morph lands, artifacts, etc., but it cost way too much for standard play, there are so many better things to put out if you are a serious player. Think about it you spend all this time to get it out early and what are you left with. I mean yeah you can play a bunch of mana accelerator creatures but how many times will you fall to your opponent because they played that one Wrath of God and left you with few or no cards in hand because you were trying to take advantage of Akroma's Memorial and you emptied your hand, it just doesnt add up if you really think. I would just so much rather play a card that can alone kill your opponent with no help if it is going to cost 7 mana. Although it will most likely not be played in standard I will definetely admit it seems like it would be a blast in multiplayer.

first of all, even if you get this out, it won't necessarily win you the game. a green deck focused on getting this out will end up with a bunch of 2/2's with haste, flying, vigilance, etc. that's not very helpful...in combination with big creatures, well...you win. but 7 mana?! id rather tinker up a darksteel colossus...

costs too much it would never work in a standard deck. it is quite fun though i use it with sliver queen and coat of arms.if it costed about 3 less maybe people would use it in their standard decks.
