Agreed, Baru's first ability only triggers when a Forest enters the battlefield... Moving on, I think Baru is really, really great for a mono green beatdown deck, with or without Harrow. Giving all your creatures +1/+1 and trample is good enough by itself, but the additional ability to create free Wurm tokens is really awesome when you take into consideration that they get trample when you play a Forest :D
Only thing that drags Baru down is his manacost, but on the other hand, with the right mana acceleration, it won't really matter. (In my opinion) second best in the Future Sight rare creature cycle, Baru is only beaten by Korlash, who is a must for all Zombie decks - the amount of mana acceleration he provides is simply amazing, he's a walking Nightmare, and he even has regeneration!

Um, I think the guy above is a little confused. It clearly says the effect occurs when a forest comes into play, not when a forest is tapped. Big difference!
