From what I've seen, the main problem you face when playing a Golgari/Dredge deck is that you end up dumping a large number of lands into your graveyard, which can spell a mana shortage if you haven't played your cards right or don't have Crucible of Worlds. Dakmor Salvage fixes that problem, and is resistant to land destruction as well.
