Run with Intruder Alarm. If you have 5 creatures in play you go unlimited saprolings w/o having to use any mana. There are a couple of other ways to go unlimited with this, but Intruder Alarm is the easiest by far.
As a stand alone card this is great as a constant chump blocker at instant speed; just leave your toolbox creatures untapped to pay the Convoke cost + Buyback and you won't have to spend a single mana.

three and a half. If you are already rolling in Saprolings, this card is useful for keeping it going while conserving mana, but it's still a 2 cost card for 1 sap, or a 5 cost if you want it back. Not the best for early game.
