Sure it's only 1 health (watch out for those spells that do 1 damage) but it's a completely amazing card. I'm surprised that it's not a rare. I used this card for the first time with my treasured darksteel collosus in my hand (it takes 11 mana to put in play). It was the beginning of the game, so my opponent had a couple of 1/1's out and I just had aetherplasm. When he attacked me I blocked with aetherplasm, brought the card back to my hand, brought out darksteel collossus to block, and won the game in 2 turns with the collosus. Instead of having to take a long time to get the required mana for the collosus, I was able to luckily get it out with this guy and keep it in play: no mana required! Definately a recommended card: it's good for bringing out any strong cards in your hand without the mana cost, and your opponent will think twice about attacking you if this guy can block!

Good card. Can be used to get a powereful creature into play whitout paying mana plus you destroying the attacking creature.

I don't think The mediocre ability justifies this 1/1 creature having a casting cost of 4. To the guy talking about Phage: Only attacking creatures deal trample damage, so dropping Phage with this guy will not accomplish what you are suggesting.
