I love this card. The Shaman can screw almost any combo deck. I played my friend and played the Shaman. He forgot about, played his infinite myr combo, and took infinite damage.

This card makes alot of decks very unsuable, but it makes it even worse the fact that he has a 3/4 body for only three, which is something you rarely ever see if at all. Play it if your run red and green or make your burn deck splash alittle green just for this.

Great card, and you're right in saying it can't touch affinity, however, the reason people play affinity decks is for Arcbound Ravagers and the like, and this makes using them suicide. Here's hoping this card gives Wizards R&D a reason to un-ban Skullclamp in Extended.

This card single handedly will kill any deck that attempts to us Sensei's Divining top, or Umezawas Jitte. Also a 3/4 for three mana? How can you argue against this guy!

This card is good, but affinity itself is a static ability. It's always active so this doesn't touch affinity....hard. Anyway, still grade A material here.

i love this card, it shuts our any and all decks with creature based abilities. if mirrodin was still standard legal, then affinity would be a fatal mistake.
