Thats the problem with the Orzhova! They cost a lot, but when you play them they come with great advantages! And then you realize that your opponent has about 500 creatures that took him only 6 turns to get. And thats when Culling Sun comes into the works. It barely hurts any of the creatures that you use for an Orzhov Deck. I got all my creatures get +2/+2 with the help of this, and Orzhov Pontiff. Play Blood Funnel, then Orzhov Pointiff, then you play Culling Sun for only WWB, sacrifice your Pontiff and let it haunt a low costing creature, once Culling Sun is done, you've destroyed basically most of your opponents weak creatures and now you got creatures with a +2/+2 bonus and you havent even attacked yet! A fun selective wrath of god

Having a problem with Weenie decks? Quite frankly the boros and gruul owning your orzhov deck? Me too but now culling sun. I built a bounce Orzhov deck with highway robbers, angel of despair, ravenous rats, and blind hunters. I was down to 5 life when i played this once but what happened. I ended up winning with over 20 life AND when i played i cleared the field except for my 3 creatures. An absolute must sideboard for any orzhov deck because alot of orzhov cards cost over 3 EASILY.
