I laugh at players not seeing the subtle broken abilities of this card, Red/Blue land destruction, Crack the Earth (Betrayers of Kamigawa), its a sorcery, use with Eye of Nowhere, Stone Rain, also try Annex for more sacrifice choices when all you have is a Crack the Earth and your Magnivore will pummell.

try using this card with cards like greater auramancy, so that if the opponent tries to destroy all of your enchantments with mass-destruction cards, you at least gain something for it. Also, you can kill it with claws of gix and gain life while drawing cards.

This card needs to go to the graveyard from play so its actually quite hard to use.
