This card EXCELS when used with cheap 1 mana spells, perticularly lava dart due to its flashback, then dropped with a psycotic rage, and used to combo off in a single turn, with a force of will in hand for protection of course.

This is one of the Izzets best cards. Especially when used with the replicate mechanic. Slap a couple of Leap of Flame's on it using replicate and you not only have the extra power from the Leap of Flame's but you also have an extra +2/+0 for each Leap of Flame played.

Not a bad card, but copying isn't playing. It just arrives on the stack as a spell. It can still be countered, but it isn't actually played.
