While not perfect, this is a low casting cost, affordable card that will hose a good many of of things such as Ratchet Bomb, (if you have token creatures or werewolves to protect) and Shrine of Burning Rage. Also shuts down many, many, other artifacts you would rather not see activate as well.
If you run white in standard it is a great sideboard card.
