It's pretty dang easy to get his threshold activated, with things like Manamorphose, Forgotten Cave, Lightning Bolt, Book Burning(Targetting yourself of course). I even threw in Mesmeric Orb to aide in the process, backed up with 2 Gaea's Blessing just in case I would mill myself. Very often I play him Turn 4 with his Threshold already active... 5/5 Flying, Firebreathing for 4CMC is pretty awesome -- in the right circumstances I would say he is comparable to Lightning Dragon.
