Basically a 3/4 flyer for 3 mana with "Champion a Creature". Not bad at all, especially when used with some of the large morph creatures of the Onslaught and Time Spiral block.

This has basically the same ability as the "Champion" creatures from Lorwyn/Morningtide and is useful for the same reasons. The drake spirits away one of the creatures you have in play, but in exchange you get a 3/4 flier for only 3 mana, which is pretty awesome, and if it leaves play you get the first creature back free of charge. Even better if the critter you lost has a good comes-into-play ability.

hmmm......not bad. works on morph, conventionally (like 'man-o'-war) , and on regular creatures like 'serendib efreet' that come back into play if your opponent plays a spell like 'wrath of god.' yes, you do take the risk of losing two cards for the price of one, but that's why you wait for your opponent to tap out.....or until you get a better idea of what they're playing. in conclusion, very underrated and almost never played, but deserves a second look............
