Great card in a type II elf deck I'm using. 5 stars may be a bit too high but if I get out a turn two Elvish Champion or Perfect via Llanowar Elf or Boreal Druid, this card is great to play on their third turn whether it be for blocking or just their end of turn. It also sets up your next draw. Turn 4 or 5 overrun with 4 or 5 5/5 elves is crippling and game winning.

Very good and necessary instant in an elf deck! Oh and for the last reviewer, scrap the Boreal Druids and go for Fyndhorn Elves instead in a green deck, just a thought to help you out.

Not a bad card, great for defense to get a player to attack and possibly kill both creatures with death touch. PLUS, you get to clash so you can be more prepared for your next turn. And at worst, you get two tokens out of it.
It would only be better if the tokens had haste, so it could be an attacking and defending card.
