I love tapping abilities that don't require the actual (T: "activation cost"; which gets hindered by summoning sickness in many cases~). Now if only I could create an easy means to give a mono-B deck vigilance soz I can still do combat, then steal a creature at the end of my opponent's turn~~

Already seen this guy take a wellwisher, then make the elf player regret putting out elves. :) It's a pretty awesome little card for a vamp deck.

This card is awasome the only thing that could make it better is if it had protection from red or if it was a 3/3

This is good.. Its exactly the kind of card I always thought the elves had too many of and the vamps to few of. Not anymore :)!

Vampire Nocturnus > Captivating Vampire
I'm not saying that Captivating Vampire is bad by any means, but I think its second ability is verrry slow. 5 vampire's is a lot to have out and much less tap them all. I think if you have 5 vampires out, your opponent isn't doing well enough for it to matter if you take control of one of their creatures. This card is definitely priced to sell compared to Nocturnus though. I do like that it's more playable than Nocturnus in a multicolor deck. Good card, but poor replacement.
