-- I should be working
I personally run both Chandra Nalaar and Chandra Ablaze in my mono red agro/burn deck, along with Koth of the Hammer as well. Running all three allows for a huge range of options and greatly increases the chances of being able to win the game one way or another.

Me and the old girl have had a good partnership since Lorwyn. Winning FNMs and getting in the top 32 of a PTQ so I would in no way say she is bad. She can burn down a big creature, ping the opponent, and win you the game if she goes off which unless you play another burn deck isn't as hard as it sounds if you protect her with burn spells. Think about it, your opponent attacks and you lightning bolt the creature. Repeat this for three turns and she can get enough counters to do her thing. This wont always work of course so don't jump me if it doesn't work for you, but let me give a little suggestion. Sideboard Pyroclasm so when you face a white weenie you can kill of everything for two mana then use her.

Chandra Nalaar is better than Chandra Ablaze in all ways... Chandra Nalaar is the best planeswalker in red... it can deals damage to opponent, deals damage to a creature, or give destructive damage to all opposing face!!!

It's awesome, on turn 8, it's like wrath of god and 10 damage in one

5 mana for six damage? if that wasnt enough you can ping to recharge and if so inclined, you can build up and wreck their day. this is the funnest planeswalker short of elspeth, and shes just sick

I play her in a green red deck with doubling seasons, and rings of brighthearth, green gives you the acceleration to get her out, and man, with a doubling season out, doing her third ability same turn you drop her, is just, killer. I love her.

It is not incredibly rare, I have 2 in ten booster packs.

Incredibly Rare. In 6 booster boxes, my friend and I only got one of her. Covet this card, it may be one of the only ones you ever see.

Yes.
What could be more fun than setting things on fire? Summoning your friend who also loves to burn things!

My favorite of the five. She's especially funny when fighting the other planeswalkers, as Jace is the only one that can gain any loyalty if you feel like redirecting all her damage that way.
And then she lets off a massive Flame Wave and things get even funnier.

Chandra Nalaar is a brilliant planeswalker for most red decks - she can kill creatures with toughness 5 or less, ping players for 1 each turn, and eventually cast a gigantic Flame Wave in the face of an opponent. Still though, Chandra Nalaar isn't very specialized (as opposed to Chandra Ablaze).

All in all, Chandra Nalaar is good in regular decks featuring red, but if you're running a mono red burn deck, Chandra Ablaze seems way better in most cases.

I am guessing when you say a holographic Chandra, you are actually talking about a foil one. In that case, the price is right here on this page. Don't bother looking anywhere else, because TrollandToad probably has the lowest price you will find, anyway.

My absolute favorite card to pair Chandra with is Repercussion. If you are playing with Chandra and you don't know about Repercussion, you should look into it now! To sum up, Chandra + repercussion= very dead opponent

Pretty good -8 counter almost always ends the game for your opponent.

Of the five, I am least enamored of Chandra, but I do love them all. Chandra is my least favorite for a simple reason: converted mana cost. Easy to counter. But once she's out, hard to beat. I only rate her as I as I do because you can defuse her in two easy turns, and if you have Rings of Brighthearth on the table and 2 mana, you can take an opponent from 20 to zero on your sixth turn.

Use Sorin's second ability, then Chandra's big one. You win.
