Demon of Death's Gate

The biggun in my ''Grave Pact'' sacrificial deck. Fairly easy to get this into play as soon as turn 2-3 w/o ''Dark Ritual'', but obviously better after ''Grave Pact'' is already in play... This guy means business. Should have bought more while they were still cheap~

He can be on the board first turn...easy...assuming you draw the 6 card combo.  : ) 1)lay swamp2)dark ritual3)cast 3 creatures that cost 1 black each4) sacrifice the 3 black creatures, pay the 6 life.5) watch your opponent concede

While it is possible to get it out on turn two, that won't happen to often unless you rig your deck. It will however get out much earlier than it's 9 CMC suggests. And yes, it is pure unadulterated awesome. Nobody wants to see this swinging at them. I'm going to buy a playset before the price rises.

It's crazy! You can get it out on your second turn easily!

this is a top notch card i love it so much if you gave a black deck then you should have 4 of them this sucker is a game ender TRUST ME!

This card is for reanimation IMO, turn1 bury then spit this guy right out, no extra cost. Well, its that or dark rit three 1cc creatures or four consecutive dark rits. First scenario seems more plausable.

Love this card. Huge, trampling and ferocious looking, a true demon! One of the best mono-black ones along with reiver demon and xathrid.

Utterly sick in old school black speed decks, Ritual, three 1 cc creatures, and bam! One counter or cheap removal spell and you are out six life and four creatures that's why I give it four stars and four might be to high but when it works it works

Funny thing.
turn 1 Kuldotha Rebirth, artifact land and bam...would try this one in a red/black reanimator artifact. Always loved this type of combo...
